Name; Ana
Age: 25
Location: NY
Favorite Sport: Baseball and Basketball
Favorite Team: New York Knicks and New York Mets
Favorite Athlete:Lebron James because he brought an energy back to the game of basketball that made me excited about the sport. Amare Stoudemire because he revived my favorite team. The Knicks were lacking someone with his focus, strength and leadership ability. He definitely brought basketball to life in New York. Jose Reyes because he plays just as hard as his championship ring laden counterparts but doesn’t receive the credit. When he steals bases, he makes a huge impact. He works at the sport, but also seems to have a lot of fun. He’s improved every single season and will surely go on to amazing things.
Favorite Moment in sports: In September 2001, after New York City faced one of the most terrible moments in the nation’s history, sports were definitely turned to as therapy. Although the Mets don’t have the strongest record, their first game after 9/11 made the city rejoice. The Braves were leading the Mets in the eighth and it seemed as if they had the game, but Piazza stepped up to plate and hit one of the strongest home runs I’d ever seen. The city came to life. There have been a lot of great moments in baseball but this is one that was great for the city and Mets fans alike.
Starting Five: Derrick Rose, Rajon Rondo, Lebron James. Paul Pierce, Al Horford
